Martins Ferry is located in Belmont County in East Central Ohio. It was founded in 1794 by Absalom Martin, revolutionary war hero and surveyor. It is now a city of about 7,500 people and includes over 250 businesses. It is located right on the Ohio River.
The downtown business district boasts many places to shop and eat, shown to the left are a few looking from the intersection of Hanover and 4th.
